Design and realization of a master suite and a psychology office within a duplex apartment located on rue des Jeûneurs in Paris.
Located on the upper level, the new master suite was designed in stylistic harmony with the apartment’s existing spaces, characterized by a modernist aesthetic. Elegant and functional, it features an extensive walnut storage wall, including a custom dressing area, an integrated desk, and a bookshelf. Combined with the tailored headboard, the bedroom maximizes comfort and optimizes the use of space.
In the bathroom, Emperador marble on the countertop and backsplash is paired with walnut cabinetry to create a warm yet minimalist atmosphere. A large double sink and ample storage facilitate daily organization, with the upper cabinets opening via butterfly doors for convenience. A wide mirror enhances the room’s sense of space and light while adding a sophisticated touch with a central wall sconce. The spacious, naturally lit walk-in shower combines simplicity with functionality.
On the lower level, the psychology office is connected via a hidden door to the private areas of the apartment. Accessible from the common landing, it welcomes clients in a calming and professional environment, with a private entrance, a comfortable waiting area, and restroom facilities.
The psychology office ensures complete soundproofing, guaranteeing the confidentiality of consultations. It features a large, custom-built natural oak bookshelf with two sliding panels concealing a television screen. Bathed in natural light from two windows offering stunning views over the Parisian rooftops, this serene and intimate space invites calm and introspection.
