Design and realization of an interior system and soundproofing solution using recycled felt blocks.

Felto is a stackable and modular felt block, made from textile waste collected across France. Specifically designed to meet the needs of collective and professional spaces, the blocks can be easily assembled to organize and define zones within open-plan offices, workspaces, event lounges, or retail stores. This allows for the creation of freestanding vertical partitions, providing effective visual and acoustic insulation with great flexibility.

Each block valorizes several kilograms of end-of-life textiles. The transformation process of used textile fibers has a very low environmental impact. The blocks are manufactured without chemicals and produce zero waste. At the end of their life cycle, the felt and recycled plastic assembly components can be easily separated for recycling.

From textile waste collection to end-of-life, Felto innovatively reimagines acoustic furniture while fully integrating eco-design principles and the circular economy.
