Design and realization of the interior layout for the lobbies of the Landscape Tower, located in La Défense. This high-rise building was rehabilitated in 2021 by architect Dominique Perrault.
In the main lobby, the new interior design embodies all the defining features of next-generation office spaces: hotel-style reception, a diversity of services, and an experience centered around well-being. While maintaining aesthetic coherence with the original, distinctly mineral architecture, the project plays on contrasts. With a contemporary style infused with Art Deco accents, the new furnishings warm up the atmosphere through timeless and refined materials. Patinated brass, Aniegré wood, and natural leather harmonize to create an elegant environment. Large potted tropical plants bring a soothing, lush character to the space, while cascading greenery from the upper balcony accentuates the building’s verticality.
Upon entering, visitors are welcomed by a custom-designed reception desk, complemented by a side cabinet offering generous storage space. Additional mobile reception pods can also be deployed within the lobby to enhance guest services.
The waiting lounges, arranged along the glazed façade, are bathed in natural light and provide a comfortable place to pause. They feature bespoke rugs and coffee tables designed specifically for the project. A landing area has been created to accommodate informal meetings or temporary work sessions, equipped with a large connected table and an extensive decorative bookshelf. At the center of the space, an island bench adorned with a generous planter offers a pleasant spot to wait or enjoy a coffee break.
The café, a true meeting place, is organized around a counter managed by a service operator and a seating area with banquettes, tables, and chairs. Decorative partitions made of textured glass panels filter the light and add a distinctive graphic identity to the space. Together, these elements complete the service offering of this welcoming, comfortable, and functional work environment.
